Meditation is practiced in cultures all over the world to create a sense of calm, inner harmony, wholeness, and connectivity. Meditation is a mental exercise that builds mental, emotional and spiritual strength. There isn’t a right or wrong way to meditate but it is important to find a practice that suits you and your needs. Meditation isn’t about becoming a different person, a new person, or even a better person. It’s about altering consciousness, finding awareness, achieving peace, and widening your perspective. You’re not trying to turn off your thoughts or feelings. You’re learning to observe and reflect on them without judgment.
