Moon PHASES

The moon cycle can be described as changes in appearance created by changing angles or positions of the moon, in relation to the earth and the sun. It is believed that the each phase has its own spiritual circumstances. The moon reminds us of birth, death and the it’s cycles.


Here are the cycles and their significance:


▪️New means the moon is between earth and sun and is not visible on earth

▪️Full means the entire moon is illuminated and can be seen on earth.

▪️Waxing means the moon’s illumination is growing.

▪️ Waning means the Moon’s illumination is decreasing.

▪️Crescent means less than half of the moon is illuminated.

▪️ Gibbous means that more than half of the Moon is illuminated.



🌑NEW MOON

New moons represent new beginnings, rebirth, potential, and stillness. When the Moon cannot be seen, it strongly signals everything is being cleared. This is the best time to set goals, set intentions, and launch new projects.

Keywords: Fresh starts, taking time for yourself, soul-searching, manifesting, setting goals and intentions, reboot.

🌒WAXING CRESCENT MOON

🌕FULL MOON

Also known as the Harvest Moon. The full moon represents illumination, clarity and completion. This is the time for spiritual growth, setting intentions and letting go. Also, during this time, use the moon to cleanse and charge up yourself, your crystals, jewelry, or cards with the moon’s energy.

Keywords: Celebrate, harvest, gratitude, reflection. Fruition, completion, bloom, release and sealing of intention.

🌖 WANING GIBBOUS

This is the time to reflect and focus on gratitude, thinking about how we feel. This is also known as dissemination moon, which brings about energy for better communication, revelation and completion.

🌗THIRD QUARTER

This is the time to stop, contemplate, introspect, reflect & re-evaluate the future. A sense of thinking about what has been accomplished, and getting rid of the negative thoughts and energy for good in preparation for another beginning.

🌘WANING CRESCENT

It is the end for the old cycle, the start of approaching a new one. It is a time to detach from the world and rest yourself, think things over and contemplate which the things you should let go.
